Cholesterolcare is a food supplement with sweeteners based on fermented red rice, coenzyme Q10, chromium and elderberry juice with mango extract.

How to use: take 1 sachet per day
Red rice fermented by Monascus purpureus titled to 3% in monokolin K (10mg) contributes to the maintenance of normal levels of cholesterol in the blood. A beneficial effect is obtained with the daily intake of 10 mg of monokolin K, extracted from fermented red rice, which inhibits the HMG CoA reductase and therefore the biosynthesis of cholesterol.
HMG-CoA reductase is the enzyme involved in the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol; since cholesterolemia is at least 70% dependent on the endogenous biosynthetic pathway and only 30% on the diet, supplementation with fermented red rice is effective in order to normalize levels of total cholesterolemia and LDL cholesterol.
Dry Mango extract is a lyophilized pulp obtained from the fruit of the whole mango (Mangifera indica l.), that is collected when the concentration of polyphenols, antioxidants, terpenes and tannins is highest. It acts on the key enzymes of metabolic regulation, AMPK and SIRT1 that stimulate lipid metabolism, inhibit the synthesis of cholesterol and the accumulation of fat
in adipocytes, thus promoting cholesterol homeostasis.
Coenzyme Q10 is essential for the production of energy in the form of ATP and for the functioning of the mitochondria. The normal production of Coenzyme Q10 decreases with age, especially after 35 years. Furthermore, people with high levels of cholesterol in the blood tend to have lower concentrations than the average.
Although the chromium’s function is not yet well known, hypoglycemic properties are ascribed to the chromium, due to the ability to enhance the insulin signal. It has been observed that the integration of chromium picolinate favours an appreciable decrease in the concentrations of total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol.
